Reggiani Space Age floor lamp

Designed by Goffredo Reggiani, the pioneer of Italian Space Age lighting design, the present lamp would look perfectly in place on some early sci-fi movie set – think 2001: A Space Odyssey or Space: 1999. Its futuristic design and bold material choice (marble for the base and pedestal, chromed metal for the body) prove how forward-thinking designers were back in the 1970s, and what bright visions they had for the upcoming future.
