OMA Space Age Floor Lamp
Offered for sale is a seldom-seen and extremely attractive floor lamp in chromed and white-lacquered metal. Manufactured by O.M.A. Italia, whose label is still crisp and clearly visible on one of the shades, it has a peculiar and uncommon angular design, whit rhomboid light holders painted in white and chromed shades in matching shapes. It looks amazing fitted with mirrored light bulbs like the pictured ones.
With its sharp lines, the fixture seems to nod Gio Ponti’s iconic creations – both in product design and architecture, altough there is no literature linking OMA to Ponti.
The lamp is preserved in original conditions, with original wiring, switch and plug. It is in working order, as shown in pictures.
