Meccano mirror by Spinzi
Meccano is collection of sharp yet playful furniture pieces, launched in 2020, that is defined by the artistic research of the studio. The use of metal, the industrial inspiration and the contamination with the world of contemporary art are all present in the pieces, inspired by the eponymous construction set Meccano with which designer Tommaso Spinzi used to play as a child.
The present mirror, part of the collection, has a metal and stainless steel frame encompassing a mesmerizing “galaxy” mirror, where staines of gold, purple and other colours transform reflections in images seemingly coming from another universe.
The mirror measures 85cm and has an overall thickness of approximately 5cm.
