Gallotti & Radice glass dining table

Contemporary design 1980s glass dining table by Luigi Massoni for Gallotti & Radice.

The collaboration between Gallotti & Radice and architect Luigi Massoni began in 1969, when he reached out to the furniture brand asking for a custom table to use in a Christmas setup at the “Mobilia” showroom in Milano. Later on, he designed the Adam table in 1971, which at the time of its launch was the first ever all-glass dining table.

The partnership went on and ten years later, in 1981, the present dining table was born. Made after an interesting concept with thick glass slabs glued together, the piece is extremely sculptural and has an outstanding presence. The glass blades create stunning plays of light, and the glued connections are absolutely invisible.

The piece is in great shape overall, with only some signs of time showing and absolutely not compromising the overall appearance of the table.
