Brionvega RR126 Stereo

Designed in 1964 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, two of the most famous Mid-Century Modern era designers, the Brionvega RR126 Radio Turntable is an iconic piece of Italian design, and still today one of the most sought after accents for interior decoration thanks to its timeless look.

Developed in the same era the Beatles and Beach Boys were experimenting with stereo recordings, the RR126 reflects the needs of then-contemporary music for high quality audio equipment that could valorize the different layers of songs.

Our piece, coming from the first owner’s house in Milano, is in working order and well preserved. There are signs of use throughout, but nothing compromises the overall looks of this iconic object. The perspex lid of the turntable was lost in the years, and that’s the only missing part to be noted.
