Armchairs by Aldo Morbelli for ISA Bergamo

Stunning set of two Italian Mid-Century Modern armchairs, designed by Aldo Morbelli for ISA Bergamo in the 1950s and upholstered in smooth brown velvet. The chairs are very architectural in design, and look great from every angle. Their sharp, sleek lines make them absolutely timeless, and it’s almost hard to believe they were actually designed seventy years ago.

The two armchairs in the set are a perfect match, and are likely preserved in their original upholstery – or were re-upholstered early on. The brown velvet fabric is in good shape for the age and has no visible signs of tear or holes.
