Description
Medusa Marble Stool – Spinzi
Past, present and future come together in this sculptural piece by Spinzi.
The design was born from a dream that Tommaso Spinzi had after returning to Italy, following a decade in Melbourne — a dream of Australian jellyfish (meduse in Italian) floating in the waters of his native Lake Como.
Those vivid shapes have been carved from solid marble, a timeless and graceful material. Each Medusa is unique, with natural shades and veins that vary from block to block. Though heavy and bold, its smooth curves and flowing texture give it a sense of balance and harmony within any space.
The stool is made in two parts for easier transport, allowing different colors of marble to be mixed and matched.
Dimensions: height 50 cm, diameter 40 cm, weight approx. 100 kg.
Available in Carrara White, Emperador, Travertine, Marquinia Black, Kenya Zebra, and Alpi Green.
More than just a seat, Medusa is a collectible design object — a statement piece that works beautifully in refined interiors, boutique hotels, or modern spaces. It can stand alone as a sculpture or be grouped for a more dynamic visual rhythm.
